A friend of mine who (to his great humiliation) briefly worked for Martha said that you have to sign a nondisclosure agreement for even the most mundane of jobs. So the richest sources of gossip, disgruntled ex-employees, can't talk about her, though I gather there's no shortage of disgruntlement.
