Calif. Judge Tosses Murder Verdict in Dog Maul Case

SAN FRANCISCO (Reuters) - A California judge on Monday threw out the second 
degree murder conviction of a San Francisco woman whose attack dogs mauled 
a young neighbor to death last year, saying it was not certain the 
defendant knew the animal would explode in murderous fury that day.
