That sort of comparison is stupid. The Palestinians have had it pretty goddamn rough.

There were no "North Vietnamese." There were only Vietnamese. Both sides agreed that Vietnam was one country. They just disagreed about which one it was. If the Vietnamese didn't do that, it may have been because they were half a world away. They did some pretty awful things to Vietnamese civilians during the war. And theirs was a noble and honorable struggle, a heroic chapter in in the annals of human liberation.

That's rubbish. Weren't you the one who was insisting that comparisons to the Nazis should avoided because they are inflammatory? Here, they are also totally inappropriate. If anyone is to be compared to the Nazis in this struggle, master race psychology and all, it is not the Palestinians. It's someone else.
