Sure, why not. If non-Israeli jews are going to donate money, this is as good a cause as any. US citizens could also lobby the govt to grant all settlers U.S. citizenship and to give them some start up money for their resettlement. That 3 billion a year we pour into Israel, would be sufficient.
The argument about settlements as a solution to expensive real estate is something I've heard before...and find hard to believe...what's the word? "disingenous"...
