Your ad hominems are radiant, but you've just watered down your argument by
half.

The NYT piece quotes senior Bush officials who were present at the moment of
policy conception saying - in their own words - that the tilt towards the
Muslims was born of two concerns: (1) humanitarian and (2) power politics.
You choose to accept the officials' claim that (1) predominated, while
Chomsky thinks it was (2). You've balanced your teetering "expose" of
Chomsky on a rather thin stilt.
