Oh, I don't know. Why fight the coming neo-feudalism? Pakistan spends 70% of the money left over after debt financing ....on its armed forces. Of course, there's nothing left over for education (except Saudi financed madrassas) or health care, but hey, if you have men with guns do you really need those?

Sorry, I don't know whether to laugh or cry at this. Austerity for the "consuming engine" of the world is going to help the world economy? I doubt it. The IMF must be getting all mixed up: austerity is for the third world. After all, it worked so well there!
