i want to thank all the WBAI listeners, and listeners from other pacifica 
stations, for aiding KPFK with its transmitter problem.    the KPFK 
transmitters have to be up and running before april 25th otherwise the FCC 
will be down KPFK's back.   with colin powell's urchin running the FCC, 
this would not have been a pleasant experience, and could have resulted in 
loosing the station.

thanks again for your patience and thanks to those of you who 
contributed.   positions may be reversed in some way at a future date when 
KPFK listeners will have the opportunity to return the favor.
