what did everyone think of the doc itself? i thought it was a mess. the editing and the narration conspired to make it feel like anything but the ultimate verite film it should have been; the whole thing strained at its seams to be about heroism and not horror.

Does that mean CBS should do a documentary with the soldiers and airmen who went to Afghanistan upon return to see how many causally use racist epithets in describing their enemy? Think the US citizenry is now, post-innocence, mature enough to hear other ugly words.
