but that doesn't mean that you can't support an easy solution to the spam 
problem. i just resubbed with another account, so i can put an archive up 
of _exactly_ which spam comes from this list. why should you encourage a 
practice that every major list host has implemented to prevent spam AND 
protect identities if people wish to have them protected?

I can hack hypermail and host it on my box, pay to host it AND the list for 
167$/year, or assist marco with the task of munging our email addresses. 
so, whaddya say?
