Walzer on the Left

Not even close.  Less than 25% of the eligible voters voted for Bush in
2000, when they were told that the only other choice was Gore.  And when
they were actually asked about policies (in polls), they overwhelmingly
chose positions not on offer, well to the "left" of the allowed choices.
