I am fowarding the following for the Nottingham Stop the War Coalition.

If you are an American Peace Activist who will be in London April 11th, please contact Ranjan at the email address at the bottom of this message (rxcst4+ at pitt.edu) and do NOT reply to med.

> The Nottingham (UK) _Stop the War_ coalition is having a Public Meeting on the 11th of April, with a view to developing a broad core of persons who will help us protest the seemingly impending military action in Iraq. (We were formed to protest the bombing of Afghanistan.) We anticipate an attendance of 500 persons or so, who will then go on to organize other, broader outreach events.
>
> We have invited people such as Jeremy Corbyn MP, George Monbiot, and George Galloway MP to address the meeting. Jeremy Corbyn has already indicated his availability and we are hopeful of the others as well. I'm not sure if your schedule will permit this, but we'd like to request you to attend as well, and we'd be delighted if you could make it.
>
> Additionally, we were hoping to get some American activists to address the meeting as well, giving insight into the situation and related actions in the US. Since we can't afford to pay for someone to come from the US, we were hoping to find somebody who might already be in the UK around that date who might be willing to do it. We could cover trip expenses within the UK, and possibly a small engagement fee.
>
> If you have any suggestions, or know other folks who might, could you please let us know. Many thanks for your consideration,
