so, a while ago, here on this list, someone was talking about class and class indicators in america. and then we went back and forth about west coast lifestyle left, the coolness of the east coast, the debate about whether the rest were hicks or the real genuine people, etc, etc.
to settle the whole class thing, i took a look at [conservative academic?] paul fussell's book "class: a guide the american status system" and since i have some spare time and have been trying to figure out some things in javascript/html, i took the quiz at the end of the book and made a web page of it, so you can now know for sure what class you belong to!
try it out if and only if you have netscape6 or later, mozilla, internet explorer 5.5 or later. it will most definitely not work for older versions of these browser, or on other browsers such as opera.
