Jerusalem - A new computer game on the internet enables surfers to carry out virtual suicide bombings and kill as many men, women and children as possible, the Israeli Yediot Ahronot daily reported on Wednesday.

The game, found at a site called Newgrounds.com, loads with a picture of Palestinian President Yasser Arafat, before showing figures walking down a street.

The player, who is the suicide bomber, has to mingle with the figures and click on the mouse button to kill as many as possible.

According to Yediot, the picture of Arafat at the beginning of the game indicates it is aimed against Israelis.

According to the website, it was created by a 24-year-old American from Philadelphia, Tom Fulp, and contains additional games, including one where the player receives points for punching al-Qaeda leader Osama bin Laden in the face. - Sapa-DPA
