What really amazes me is that some activists can't put two and two together. Why has the anti-globalization movement been so successful? Is it because it relies on the old model of having an endless platform of speakers and then a permitted march? No. When was the last time that an endless rally with speakers got media attention, not to mention *empowered* anybody.
One person who attended the ANSWER rally on the Ellipse said that the speakers were dreadfully boring and that there was no music on the stage. This was compounded by the fact that they had set up the speakers on the ground, instead of elevated.
Couldn't have heard the 55 speakers if you wanted...
