science

The Bush administration plans to sharpen government
scrutiny of up to 2,000 foreign nationals studying
science or technology at American universities, with
the intent of tightening access to ''sensitive''
research and knowledge that could be used to threaten
national security, the White House science adviser
said yesterday.
