To Seth's detail concerning the supposed "return" of
Serbs to Kosovo must be added the violent ethnic
cleansing of hundreds of thousands of Serbs from the
Krajina, conducted by the Croatian military with the
(crucial) aid of a US paramilitary organization,
M.A.C. (Military Assistence Corp.?).

It was code-named Operation Storm.  It was the single
most successful ethnic cleansing in the whole Yugoslav
war. It was a "green light" operation (like Sharon's
West Bank incursions) in coordination with NATO's own
direct actions in Bosnia.

The notion that NATO intervention in any part of
Yugoslavia was motivated by considerations of
"morality" is pure nonsense.  The reality was - and is
- that of NATO playing the vilest kind of ethnic
politics under the lead of the US and Britain, both of
whom have vast experience at this sort of "tribal" and
"religious" game.  They certainly prefer it to the
thankless task of "fighting communism".
