Israel's right to exist...

I don't think this is a useful discussion. Israel has no more right to exist than any other state, and certainly no more than any other half-democratic-state. But it's not special that way. No doubt it would be a boon to thew orld were the Israeli proler=tariat, Jewish, Arab, whatever, rise up and smash the Israeli state and replace it with a socialist secular multinational republic. But that isn't very likely to happen. In the mean time, Israel is not going to go away either. There is less than no point in making idle declamations that can only enrage people without changing anything. The problem now is to get a semi-stable Palestinian state going in the West Bank (sans settlements) and Gaza. Isn't that enough of a job? jks
