I don't know why people just don't name names. Do NOthings refer to Carrol, Yoshie, and Charles, IIRC. they are the ones who have and continue to support the position that, as leftists, we should DO NOTHING to try to stop the US from pursuing whatever path it was going to choose. What we could count on was that, under these conditions, the US would inevitably fuck it up and limp along toward the "tar baby" scenario. Once achieved, the US empire would become illegitimate paving the way for the revo and, ultimately, the instantition of a communist utopia.
do you support that? would you tell people in the US that they should not fret about 9-11 and an imminent war because, after all, WWI paved the way for the Russian Revolution and we should hope for the same. Is that how y'all plan to breath life back into the left and its reputation among ordinary USers? Is that how you plan to compete with the M. Moore's of the world? Is that how you expect to win people over to left analyses?
