Millions were saved from starvation. That is a fact supported by Oxfam. Half the Afghan population were virtual slaves under the Taliban. Even RAWA admits that there are more openings now.

Al Qaeda is not a minor problem. And the "left" makes itself look ridiculous insisting that it is.
