Funny money

Odd, maybe.  Never really paid close attention till recently, but as the
dollar drops against other currencies, including the ruble,  it has gone
from buying 9.48 Mexican pesos, like last week, to buying 9.61 pesos today.
Seems like a lot, especially considering the contrariness of the move to
others.  The rand is really strengthening.  What can I read to think about
war in terms of what was happening with the currencies and such?  This seems
like the real nitty-critty and with so much at stake I suspect these moves
are carefully thought out.  Unlike, ya know, forgetting that it might be a
good idea to put under-cover agents on NY and DC flights.
