He seems to think the U.S. can be the instrument of liberation for the Iraqi people. Wouldn't he agree a) that an essential dimension of such liberation is economic, and if so, b) essential to such liberation is common ownership of the nation's oil, and if so, c) there is no way an U.S. 'liberation' would provide for this ownership, hence his position is a crock.
