Industrial output growth was 11.0% year-on-year in Armenia, 9.5% in Kazakhstan, 6.4% in Tajikistan, 6.0% in Ukraine, 4.0% in Russia, 3.7% in Belarus, 2.8% in Azerbaijan and 2.7% in Georgia. Kyrgyzstan posted a downturn of 17.3%. The committee had no figures for Turkmenistan or Uzbekistan.
Average production growth in the CIS during this period was up 4%. That figure was 7% in January-September of last year. Gross domestic product (GDP) also showed average 4% growth.
Azerbaijan's GDP was up 9.8% year-on-year during the period, Armenia's 11.0%, Belarus's 4.4%, Georgia's 4.1%, Tajikistan's 8.9%, Ukraine's 4.1%. Kyrgyzstan's GDP was 2.6% down year-on-year. In Russia, output of goods and services in the five core sectors of the Russian economy (industry, agriculture, construction, transport and retail trade) was up 3.7%.
