Recall that Yoshie, looking back on the Red Army's slaughter of a couple
million Afghans and the deployment of millions of mines, approved, since it
was "socialist" state violence that piled up the bodies, free of
"legalistic" restraint.
So, let us view her objections in that context, and not in the "antiwar" one
she pushes here.
