approach to possible war with Iraq. Pelosi opposed a congressional 
resolution authorizing President Bush to attack Iraq; Ford supported 
it. 'There's a third option,' Carson said. 'It's not a binary choice 
between capitulation to the president on Iraq and blind opposition to 
him.'"

third option . . . third way . . . third option. let's see, what's the 
third way between war on iraq and not-war on iraq? especially when ford 
supported the resolution. i thought it was only postmodernists who 
talked this way. <cough> it turns out it's just prevaricators . . .
