We've had endless round and around about the so-called culpability of the Green Party for disrupting the two-party system. What has not been discussed very much is the fact that despite the CLEAR fact that a) Nader was not going to win and b) failing to vote for Gore might result in Bush having more votes in the end (remember this is the decision in the voting booth, not the day after or two goddamn years later like now) many thousands of voters in Florida and elsewhere VOTED FOR NADER!

So Nathan, were these voters a) insane b) confused c) or expressing a political preference that was not satisfied by one of the two parties of government on the ballot?

Plus, had not the proto-Nader voters stolen from the Democratic Party already returned to Gore by Election Day?

If the Green Party is going to take a (small) bite out of the DP's ass in every election, I would think the DP's (and the GP's too) number one priority would be getting IRV passed in every state.
