the Times reviews a critic

[Michael Perelman]

He was on KPFA this week.  His book sounded quite good.  He said that he
wanted to use more of a story-telling approach.

It was mostly written for a non-US audience.  He is surprised that it is
doing well here.  It was very well received in Europe.
