Doug hits the nail right on the head. Peace groups, liberal churches, and activist religious people are bigger players that the small numbers that are involved in left sects. When the religious groups were more involved in the anti-globalization movement, they brought alot of power and numbers to the table. On the other hand, the involvement by left sects has been minor and insignificant. At worst they are a big irritant (the IAC), at best they turn out a few hundred more people to a protest.
