Ban the Barbie

I'd really like to know what you're basing this on.
Now I really enjoy Buffy, but I see no evidence that any grrl/girl 
distinction, or grrl/woman distinction maps on to Buffy/Xena.
What exactly do you mean by any of those terms...?
