What "political adversaries" are you speaking of? Politics isn't a formal debate. Usually when one is making a political pitch it is in a one-to-one or one-to-few context in which, and the political adversary (the capitalist social order, its politicians and its pundits, etc.) is only present, indirectly, in the consciousness of those one is speaking/writing to. Hence formal pro/con debate is beside the point. And no one is ever going to debate _Empire_ in the letters column of a local newspaper. :-)
