I know. But Liza's sane. There's this weird thing where, no not on lbo, being a 'woman academic' in the States means not swearing. I promise it's true. And Americans repond differently to swearing, they really do. Especially in academic contexts, though maybe that's jsut what I know best.

Damn. Really? So I actually have to send so many posts in a single day that I annoy you enough to email me off list asking me not to? Do I get credit for a year off-list?

Oh and PS: some cable sports channel we just flicked through was playing Bikini Kill behind segue-to-ad-for-our-own station. How weird is the world?
