The PMA's campaign against these workers has been backed by threats of government intervention--including the threat of troops as replacement workers. Retailers like Crate&Barrel, Gap, Best Buy, Talbots, Wal-Mart and Target Stores are on the frontline in supporting government intervention through the National Retail Federation and the West Coast Waterfront Coalition--two Washington, D.C.-based business groups. These companies should be telling the employer to end the lockout and bargain a contract.
As chairman of the National Retail Federation, George Segal of Crate&Barrel can help end the lockout. You can join the fight for justice for these dockworkers. Take one minute right now to fax George Segal at Crate&Barrel by clicking on the link below. Tell him to urge the PMA to end the lockout and bargain a contract. http://www.unionvoice.org/campaign/ilwu2/udu7i2ykwt
