The pilot who was killed flying a small plane into Milan's tallest building wasn't wearing any trousers, post-mortem investigations have revealed.
Italian police say Luigi Fasulo, the Swiss pensioner who flew his aircraft into the Pirelli building last April, was wearing only his underpants.
Officers described the discovery as "very interesting". No traces of his trousers have been found, Tgcom website reports.
It's thought that Fasulo, a former businessman, crashed into the tower in a suicide bid, possibly linked to his difficult economic situation.
The crash at the Pirelli Tower, which hosts governmental offices, also claimed the lives of two women who were working overtime.
The Milan prosecutor investigating why a small private plane slammed into the building has ruled out suicide.
