i'm not saying australian deaths wouldn't have mattered a whole hell of a lot anyway, because they would have -- but killing footballers is just so much worse than that. like kangaroos, babies, and 'diggers' all at once.
the stories about cohering team spirit, about fan trauma, i just... i find it hard to talk about.
