Offlist bets are wonderful -- one wins so many of them.
I had an offlist bet with myself that putting forward anything but one of the conventional performances would go nowhere -- if not giggling there would be pique or impatient dismissal.
Now, that, too, is an interesting subject, but I've used up my three slots for the day, as well as my supply of cockeyed optimism.
