the high rate of incarceration of economically disenfranchised blacks has been around alot longer than "gansta rap" or the 'cult of violence'...whatever that is. it's not a new thing.....perhaps more acute and everyone is only more aware of it now but need i remind you that Malcolm X was origionally a 'gangsta'? it was not a new thing then either.......
