Hmmm. I am currently sitting in the Catholic University of America campus,
my alma mater. I don't know how things stand elsewhere in Catholic America,
but a remarkably high number of seminarians in the theological college seem
to subscribe to the Advocate.
People I know who study US Church History tell me that heterosexuals just aren't going in for the clergy like they did in pre-GI Bill days, when it was a way for poor Italian and Irish Americans to get educations.
