Amateur hour in Jo'burg/Yo. Mr. Bond?

Patrick, I hate to sound stone-dumb(well actually it doesn't bother me) but are you saying there was NOT a PRONOUNCED reaction to the line about a country that abuses human rights and ignores international law? In the snip I heard Powell has not even named the country but used a phase about a country, or some countries. Some news stories made it sound like people were reacting to mention of Z, but in the part I heard he did not identify Z and there was no loud reaction until after the international law line. It didn't sound like an expression of rage against anything but the total shock people felt hearing that particular phrase coming out of Bush official mouth. I had to wonder if that speech wasn't constructed to illicit such a reaction if only to make sure Powell's punishment was maximized by Dr. Strangedick's spin machine. But plenty of US citizens who could not sympathize with an anti-capitalist spin could understand the questioning of a Bush boy condemning a lack of repect for human rights and international law which is why I would dearly love to here that whole speech.
