I'm currently reading "The Wisdom of Crocodiles". Not got very far into it, but I picked it up for the fantastic opening:
"Its not laughter or the ability to use language that differentiates man from the animals, but his capacity for incompetence... Our most important discovery was not fire, or that language could be written down, or the atom split, but the concept of limited liability". An inspired two page rant, that I suspect the book won't live up to.
