For both prose and facts, I recommend the Wall St Journal!!!!!!
They seem consistently to hire good writers. Plus they are often a more edifying source of recreational blood-pressure elevation than certain discussion lists..... Plus if you want to know about demonstrations in far off places, ask the capitalists who at least notice when something impinges on their interests.
