Please join Women in Black and the Ohio Working Group on Latin America this Friday, Sept 27, 2002 at 15th Ave. and High St. in Columbus, OH from 5:30 - 6:30 PM as part of the national Colombia Mobilization effort.

We are joining hands to oppose US military aid to Colombia, to oppose Plan Colombia, and to stand in solidarity with the trade unionists, the peacemakers, the health care workers, the teachers and all the good people of Colombia who are targets of armed actors and whose deaths are depriving Colombia of its greatest force for peace. We do not want U.S. tax dollars spent in our names to engage in aerial fumigation that ruins Colombian agriculture in an effort to eradicate the coca crop. We do not want U.S. tax dollars spent in our name to train the Colombian military that is linked to paramilitary forces -- forces responsible for most of the assassinations in Colombia.

Join us in this crucial effort to persuade U.S. policymakers that military aid is only fueling the violence.
