Who are you responding to? I may agree with him/her on substance (I haven't read the posts in this thread very carefully), but I disagree with casting political arguments in terms of lexicography. I use the term "ideology," for example, in only a couple restricted senses, but I have never objected to anyone else's use of it, nor accused anyone of being "wrong" about ideology because he/she uses the word differently.
(I think your marxism is in error in certain respects, but it's been a long time since I accused you of being a non-marxist.)
