<P>ED: Yes, but this is Noam Chomsky one of the leading figures debunking the American myth that the Palestinians are evil and that the Israelis are the chosen people. This is the ONE issue on which Noam had to be careful and I think it is naive to think otherwise. Part of the price you pay for greater visability is having to speak with greater caution. <BR><BR>DD: How much do I have to denounce the holder of view when all I want to do is point out his right to speak?</P>
<P>ED: When I defend Pat Robertson or Jerry Falwell or Limbaugh or Liddy, you bet I come right out and I say they are pigs. Purely logical points are left to the academy and Noam was not in the academy when he made these points.</P>
