The TV Column Viewers Put the War on the Back Burner

War-weary viewers made Fox's "American Idol" their first choice last week. But two full nights' worth of "Law & Order" plus two nights of Thursday's sitcoms landed NBC in the lead spot among networks. Not a single news program cracked the prime-time Top 10.
