If I were dead, it wouldn't matter to me what anybody said about me.
To be honest, guys, I haven't cheered Kelly's death, nor am I about to. I said those things to get a rise out of a few of you who seemed awfully concerned with the correct things being said. I have no emotions about Kelly's death and I will probably forget about him by tomorrow, which is what we should all do. He was a minor, mediocre columnist for the Washington Post.
We should give him credit for one thing: of all the columnists who criticized anti-war protesters, at least he had the balls to go over to Iraq and take some personal risks to see and report on what was going on. It's just ironic that he should be a victim of the very war that he promoted and advocated. At least he wasn't a total chickenhawk.
