This appears to be the daily intelligence bulletin that Venik will translate and post tomorrow morning EST. This translation (by the ghoulishly named "Necroman") appeared a few hours ago on the iraqwar.ru site. It seems to confirm US claims to be holding the airport, but confirms Iraqi claims to have prevented by counter-attacks the reinforcement of the units holding the airport - which this report suggests are fewer in number than earlier supposed. A key difference between reports is that according to the iraq.war crew this marks the end of this US offensive, while the US reports are suggesting that the offensive will now continue into Baghdad itself. This should provide a good test (over the next few days) of the worth of the iraqwar.ru analysis.
