Mailman, the program that runs this list on its new server, has an 
automated bounce detection feature (unlike majordomo, which ran it at 
panix). If posts bounce because of full mailboxes or bad addresses, 
it will unsub the offending party. So if you've got a flaky server 
(some of you have servers that seem to slip into comas now & then) or 
your mailbox fills up (as is frequently the case with Hotmail, Yahoo, 
and other free services) it will drop you without my intervention.
