You have a point that I agree with, insofar as you say that Saddam is a
bad guy, but it is not our role as Americans to overthrow his regime.
But Nathan makes the more important point here, that the anti-war left
can't even bring itself to be vocally opposed to Saddam Hussein, with
the caveat that it is not our job to get rid of him.
The silence of the anti-war left on Saddam Hussein has been exploited by the Bush adminstration and the pro-war chickenhawks against our very existence as the anti-war movement.
