Well, you know, they're *French*.
I was on the treadmill at the gym this morning watching a muted CNN. (It was much more pleasant to listen to some old Sebadoh - "cliche cliche" - than to the CNN spokesmodels.) The headlines on the screen gave the official line: the journalists were "caught in the crossfire," it was a "tragedy," and the journalists died "of wounds received in blast at hotel." Then they turned to a Centcom mouthpiece for fuller analysis.
