Well, I am not the one who keeps bringing up the
matter.  I wonder, was it Kinsey or Masters and
Johnson  that came up with that 6 inch average number?

 I suspect that the ruler and tape measure
manufacturers owe him/her their livelihood for such a
quantification ;)
