One of my libt friends who has a highly-regarded blog
tells me all true libertarians opposed the Vietnam War
too.  I think he mentioned Murray Bookchin as an example.
The Republican party appropriation of this monicker
is roughly equivalent to the Dem Party's pretentions to
social democracy.

Libertarians? Really, Carrol, you should get out more. They can be 
loopy, but they're really not into state repression or even 
necessarily patriarchy. Isn't Justin Raimondo himself gay, and kind 
of out of the patriarchal family loop? They don't like imperial war, 
and a lot aren't fond of the war on drugs either.
